Last weekend we held our 4th annual sponsorship event! With the generosity of all our committed donors we were able to sponsor 5 kids this year. All of the recipients of the Came 2 Play sponsorship received both a fully paid registration fee and hockey equipment for the upcoming season. It was lovely to meet everyone, we can hardly wait for next year!🤍

Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 hockey season! We are officially accepting sponsorship applications from Monday, May 12th to Monday, June 2nd. We are looking to sponsor multiple youth again this year. A Came2Play sponsorship includes a full equipment package and covered registration fee for the recipients upcoming minor hockey season. If you know anyone who could use the support, please spread the word and share our website!🙌🏼

The Shedden Truck & Tractor Pull would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal sponsors, fantastic volunteers and amazing spectators, who made our 2024 event a huge success!

With your help, last year we were able to donate approximately $20,000 back to local organizations. Some recipients of our 2024 event donations include: Southwold Public School Grade 8 Grad, Southwold Public School Nutrition Program, Kettle Creek Public School Grade 8 Grad, Kettle Creek Public School gym equipment, Dutton Dunwich Public School snack program, local hockey teams, local baseball teams, Came 2 Play, Shedden Library, Port Stanley Food Bank, St Thomas Skating Club, Police Association Trivia Night, Union Fire Department, Southwold Fire Department, Bereavement Associations, Dutton Girl Guides, Dutton Pathfinders, Township of Southwold (Digital Sign)

Our 2025 events will be on Friday June 13th. Gates open at 4.

Quick reminder, due to the postal strike interrupting the normal donation timeframe, Canada Revenue Services is allowing you to deduct donations made in January and February of 2025 on your 2024 tax return. Came 2 Play will continue to provide donation receipts for any donations made to us in January and February 2025!!

Our gift card fundraiser is back! From November 4th to 16th you can place an order for any gift card (and amount) indicated on the following forms. If you would like a form emailed directly to you, please let us know. Gift cards are purchased at face value, so there is no additional cost! We get a percentage of the gift cards purchased. Orders can be emailed to [email protected] - please include your name, order, and address for shipping. Order payments can be made through etransfer or cash by request. We are excited to announce that we held our 3rd annual sponsorship event last weekend! It was wonderful to meet all the families and ‘gear up’ recipients with hockey equipment for this season. With donation contributions this year, we were able to double the number of sponsorships provided and continue to grow as an organization. A huge thanks to our supportive community! We can’t wait for next year!👏🏼🎉
