Alhamdulillah, our community has now reached approximately *65% of the $1.775M goal to secure the neighbouring Scouts property.

Take a moment to think about that.

What looked like an enormous goal is becoming possible because families, individuals, businesses, and community members decided to step forward.

But 65% doesn't secure the property.

We still need to close the final $617,000 gap.

This is the moment when every person matters.

If 617 people gave $1,000 → the gap would be closed.

If 1,234 people gave $500 → the gap would be closed.

And some members of our community may have the ability to give significantly more.

We don't all have to give the same amount.

We simply need enough of us to decide that this opportunity is worth securing.

📖 KM Weekend - Hafiz — Memorize with Meaning. Grow with the Qur’an.

At Kitchener Masjid, KM Weekend - Hafiz is a structured Qur’an memorization program for children and youth who are ready to take their Hifz journey seriously. Students learn in group-based memorization tracks, with a clear path that matches their level—from Kuttab and Juz ‘Amma to steady memorization from the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah
This program is not only about memorizing words. Students also benefit from simple Tafsir, a clear understanding of the overall meaning of the verses, and*practical Tadabbur* that helps them connect the Qur’an to daily life.

Help your child build a strong and lasting relationship with the Qur’an. Noor Al-Quran at Kitchener Masjid guides children step by step—from learning Arabic letters and reading the Qur’an correctly, to improving recitation, memorizing surahs, and progressing into regular Hifz.

Alongside Qur’an learning, children explore Islamic Studies, values, manners, and essential teachings of Islam through interactive activities, discussion, and active learning that makes every session meaningful and enjoyable.

At Kitchener Masjid, our KM Weekend Program combines Quran Reading, Islamic Studies, character building, leadership, and soft skills in an engaging environment where children learn through discussion, teamwork, activities, projects, and meaningful experiences.

Our goal is to help children strengthen their connection with Allah, grow in confidence, develop strong Islamic character, and build the skills they need to become positive leaders in their families and communities.
