Are you looking for a cuddly, cozy and sweet best friend?

You’re in the right spot..

Amber is a charming 1.5-year-old female cat who was rescued this summer and brought to KSCR.

She is so gentle and enjoys receiving pets and attention, seeking you out when you enter the room for a good pet! She gets along well with other cats and although she doesn’t love it, she will let you pick her up when necessary.

She would be great in a home with other cats, as she enjoys companionship, but she has not been tested with dogs. Amber would do just fine in a home with children who have had experience around cats.

Come visit Amber every Saturday and Sunday 11:00-2:30pm 🫶🏽🤎

REWARD!!!!!!

North Dumpfries area! Alps road near the trails.

Her new name is Shera

Update with more information.

She was found on Alps Rd, sitting in the middle of the road. Finder drove around her and looked back and she was chasing his car, so he drove back and picked her up.❤️

She had blue paint on her belly and pink on her back end.. no microchip. She is currently on tropical medication for her ears and pain medication for the rope burn around her neck.

It appears she was tied up around her neck by a rope, her neck fur has been worn completely off and was believed to be used as target practice. The pain must’ve been unbearable.😭
Luckily, she was able to escape from her human predators and run into the path of an earth angel to save her.

She is approximately two years old, completely white and she is also deaf.

I have named her She-ra the princess warrior.

This beautiful boy was dumped off at the facility.
I received a message by one of the volunteers, an empty carrier was noticed in our back parking lot.
Another Volunteer looked around the property for a cat. sure enough he was hiding, scared inside the windowsill. I consider this situation, extremely sensitive because it takes one move to scare the cat and he will be gone and he will lose his chance to be secured and safe.
thank you Linda for keeping him calm until I got there. ❤️

After a few hours going through surveillance camera, it was determined that he was dumped at the facility between 11 PM and 2 AM last night in the rain,
The person who put him here left his carrier open on purpose for him to run free in unfamiliar area.
This beautiful boy has a happy ending, most cases it never ends well, normally ends with a cat in severe condition or worse , hit by a car or killed by predator.

A huge thank you to the volunteers who took action right away, and another huge thank you to my workplace who allowed me to leave early for this emergency.

I have named him, Charles. 🐱

Martha update!!

Everything went well yesterday! A part of her nose was removed and stiched back to be sent off for biopsy! Her spaying went well and she’s very happy to be back at the facility.
She tested negative for FIV and FELV.

 We just have to wait for the test results to come back from the biopsy

Thank you to those who donated funds towards this , it’s not cheap especially when cats and kittens come to us that are not well and need medical care and testing done. Hardly ever a cat and kitten comes to us that are 100% healthy. 🥹

she has stitches on her nose that will dissolve and lots of pain meds to keep her comfortable.
We love you Martha!❤️💕

A lot of new faces here at KSCR!!🐱

Meet baby Vicki. She was found under someone’s deck crying. No mama no siblings. An earth angel was feeding her until she was able to find a placement for her. She secured baby Vicki and she was brought to the facility. A huge thank you to one of our volunteers who made sure Vicki was brought in safe and sound!! ❤️

She is doing great! She has made many new friends her age and living life the way she deserves.

I can’t not imagine how scared she was all alone at only 8 weeks old. 🥹

Business reached out regarding kittens (6 weeks old) mom cat has not been spotted in days and she is normally around , restaurant is worried for them being so small.
No deceased cat has been spotted on the road in this area so I’m worried that’s coyote got mama. Babies have no mama to protect them now.
I’m sure you all know by now I never leave Mama behind ever ,

They have been feeding the babies everyday. ❤️ thank you xo earth angels everywhere 💕

It will be a long night but I’m not leaving until I get all of them

Poor babies ,all alone living under a trailer, not a good start for them.

I wish they knew I loved them before I even saw them

They don’t know it but their life just got sooooooooooo much better.

So far 2 down 3 to go 😃
