What a year it has been.
Our cadet corps continued to grow this year, and our cadets achieved so much along the way. This week was filled with celebration as we recognized their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the training year.
From the cadets who have grown into leaders, to those moving on to new opportunities after their cadet careers, and those who are just beginning their journey, each one has made an impact. Watching them learn, grow, and succeed continues to inspire us.
To our volunteers, thank you for your time, energy, and unwavering support. Whether at training nights, fundraisers, community events, or behind the scenes, your dedication helps make everything we do possible.
To our community partners, sponsors, government officials, service organizations, local businesses, bingo partners, and community members, thank you for your continued support. We are especially grateful to the K-W Naval Association, Royal Canadian Legion Branches 530, 272, 126, and 50, as well as Cambridge Bingo & Gaming Centre and K-W Gaming Centre. Your generosity, encouragement, and partnership help create opportunities and experiences that would not be possible without you.
Most importantly, thank you to our cadets. Over the past year, you have learned new skills, embraced challenges, supported one another, and grown as leaders. You have represented our corps with pride, demonstrated resilience when faced with obstacles, and continually pushed yourselves to achieve more than you thought possible. Through your hard work, determination, and commitment, you have shown the true spirit of the Sea Cadet Program and have made us all incredibly proud.
