What if one act of kindness could change a life forever? At 13, Jasmine walked through the doors of Safe Haven Youth Shelter scared and uncertain about her future. Today, she's a successful paralegal, a loving mom, and someone who makes sure youth facing similar challenges know they're not alone.

Every Christmas, Jasmine and her family deliver a holiday meal and treats to Safe Haven, giving back to the place that helped change her life.

"I want them to know they're not forgotten; people believe in them and want them to succeed."

A safe place to live can change everything. Six years ago, Kayla was experiencing homelessness and struggling with addiction. Today, she's thriving.

With support from Starling Housing Services and her own determination to create a better future, Kayla has maintained her recovery, volunteers to support others facing similar challenges, and is working toward her dream of opening a tattoo studio.
