We offer food, clothing, household items, programming and classes to support individuals and families in need. We provide the following empowerment programs:

🏃‍♂️💚 THE RACE IS ON! Meet Scott!

Our Walk for Hunger walkers are on the board — and the race is on! 🙌

But behind every walker is a story and a reason they are walking.

Meet Scott McDonald.👇

Earlier this year, Scott lost his job and suddenly found himself needing some help providing food for his family. He came through the doors of The King’s Way Outreach Centre — and found more than groceries.

“The King’s Way made such a difference in our lives. It really helped me feed my family. There was something different about this place. I really appreciated how kind everyone was, and I knew I wanted to volunteer here.”

And that's exactly what Scott did. ❤️

For the past several months, Scott has become part of our volunteer family, giving his time to help other people in our community who are facing difficult seasons.💚

Now Scott is walking for them.

“I'm walking to support other families like ours who have gone through a tough time. The King’s Way made an impact on my family, and now I want to help make that same impact in someone else's life.”

And guess what? Scott has taken the early lead on our Walk for Hunger leaderboard! 🥇🏃‍♂️

Today we want to celebrate Tobi and thank her for her many years of faithful service at The King’s Way Outreach Centre! 💚

Tobi has been such a wonderful part of our clothing distribution ministry, serving our community with a kind heart, a beautiful smile, and an encouraging word for the people who come through our doors.

It’s volunteers like Tobi who help make The King’s Way more than a place to receive practical help—it’s a place where people can feel welcomed, valued and cared for. ❤️

We're looking for some friends who would be willing to walk with us AND gather sponsors for our very own Walk for Hunger!

Pastor John Irving’s Walk for Hunger inspired us to get involved too, so we’re gathering our own group at Bayfront Park to walk and raise funds for The King’s Way Outreach Centre. ❤️

We’ll have a loop of approximately 1.5–2 km, and you can do as many or as few laps as you feel comfortable doing. One lap or five laps—it all counts!

💰 You can sponsor at Walker for any amount!

You don't have to be an athlete. Walk at your own pace, choose your own goal and gather some friends and family to sponsor you!

We'd LOVE to put together a great team of walkers. Who's in? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
