The Mark Preece Family House The Mark Preece Family House is a caring, affordable place to stay for families with loved ones in Hamilton hospitals.

The House pays tribute to Dr. Mark Preece, who was a respected physician and valuable member of the Intensive Care Unit at Hamilton Health Sciences, until his death in 1997. After staying at a Family House in the U.S.A., family, friends and colleagues wanted to ensure the same type of support and comfort is available in Hamilton.

Kathryn, one of our original Family Service Coordinators, is pictured on the left. Lyn, who began her journey with us as a volunteer and now serves as our Volunteer & Family Service Manager, is pictured on the right.
