On October 8, Positive Health Network will be participating in the Homeless No More Memorial. The Homeless No More Memorial is hosted annually by the Women’s Housing Planning Collaborative (WHPC) and partnering organizations in Hamilton’s homeless-serving sector to honour the lives of those in our community who have passed due to housing deprivation and homelessness, to raise awareness, and to advocate for change. The Memorial serves as a crucial space for unhoused residents and the larger community to come together in collective grief and remembrance. Please join us at this important event.

Marijo and Chris along with Tiana, a Conestoga College SSW placement student on the Brant Van did a community cleanup in Brantford recently. They were able to connect with a few community members while doing so! Building bridges through action one interaction at a time! This also helped demonstrate to Tiana the many facets of the van service!

Positive Health Network held its annual Walk Away From Stigma event yesterday along with picture perfect weather!! Everyone got to enjoy a great walk, a fabulous lunch provided by , and great social time!

Congratulations to all who participated, volunteered, served on the planning committee, and donated to this important event. We also send a special thank you to our walk sponsors (Freddie, Co-operators Insurance, The Dunham Group, and Pharmasave) We would also like to acknowledge the terrific and friendly service from who supplied the tables and chairs for this event.

Jess and Edi had a blast at the Churchill Neighbourhood Centre in Oakville helping out with community cleanup and connecting with our amazing neighbors, volunteers, and students. We always love every chance to give back and make a difference for everyone in the Halton region! 🧹✨🤝

It was such a pleasure for Sam, Richard, and Edi to join the 2026 Halton Region Take Back the Night event this September 17, connecting with our community to share resources on prevention, treatment, and harm reduction. What a fantastic opportunity for outreach and meaningful conversation about the work we do! 🤝✨📣

We had such a fantastic time on Saturday, September 19, at the Halton Region Community Resource Fair in Oakville! Sam, Jess, and Edi loved sharing the Positive Health Network’s mission and connecting with so many amazing community partners and service providers across the region. It’s always so rewarding to get out and support our local community! 🌟🤝✨
