🙏 The Month of Open Doors

🔑 Theme Scripture: Revelation 3:8 (KJV)

“See, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.”

Today, we journey into Ephesians 4 during The Month of Open Doors. This powerful chapter calls us to walk worthy of the calling we have received in Christ, maintaining unity in the Spirit through peace, humility, gentleness, and love. Paul reminds us that God has given different gifts to His people to equip the saints, build up the body of Christ, and help us grow into spiritual maturity. We are also encouraged to put off our old ways and embrace the new life we have received in Christ Jesus. 🙌

As we continue in The Month of Open Doors, may God open doors for spiritual growth, fruitful service, and deeper relationships with Him and one another. May we walk in unity, use our God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform our character. May we put away bitterness, anger, and every form of malice, choosing instead to be kind, compassionate, and forgiving, just as God forgave us in Christ. May every door God opens lead us into greater maturity, unity, and fulfilment of His purpose for our lives. 📖✨

Life is beautiful when you surround yourself with people who genuinely love Jesus and are committed to growing in Him.

The right fellowship strengthens your faith, encourages you in difficult seasons, and reminds you of God’s promises when you need them most. When you walk with people who desire to know Christ more deeply, you create room for accountability, spiritual growth, and a shared pursuit of God’s purpose.

Choose relationships that draw you closer to God, encourage you to live out your faith, and inspire you to become more like Christ.

There is joy in doing life with people who love Jesus. Together, we grow, we pray, we serve, and we become more like Him.

As children of God, we must understand that walking with Him requires commitment, obedience, and a willingness to do what He asks of us.

There are sacrifices to be made in the Kingdom. Sometimes, it means giving up our comfort, investing our time in prayer, serving faithfully, choosing obedience over convenience, or letting go of anything that keeps us from fulfilling God’s purpose.

Faith is not passive. While we trust God to open doors, we must also be willing to take the steps He requires of us.

As we journey through our Month of Open Doors, may God give us the grace to recognise what He is asking of us and the courage to respond in obedience.

May we never miss the doors God has prepared for us because we are unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices.

🙏 The Month of Open Doors

Welcome to The Month of Open Doors! We trust God to open doors of favor, opportunities, breakthroughs, and new beginnings that no one can shut.

📖 Theme Scripture: Revelation 3:8 (KJV)

“Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.”

May the Lord open doors of opportunities, grant us divine access, and lead us into His perfect plans and purposes. May we recognize the doors He opens and walk through them with faith and obedience. 🚪✨

📚 Sunday School Topic: Flee Adultery

Join us as we explore the biblical call to purity, faithfulness, and honoring God in our relationships. Through God's Word, we are reminded to flee sexual immorality, guard our hearts, maintain healthy boundaries, and pursue a life of holiness that reflects our commitment to Christ.

📖 Scripture Reference: 1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)

“Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”

💖 At Place of Rest, we gather to:

Worship God with grateful hearts

Learn and grow through His Word

Pray and seek His presence

Strengthen our faith and spiritual walk

Build godly relationships and stronger families

Encourage one another to live with integrity and holiness

As members of God’s family, we are called to be patient with one another, showing love and grace even when someone is overtaken by a fault.

Ephesians 4 reminds us to walk in humility, gentleness, patience, and love, bearing with one another in unity. Being part of the body of Christ means understanding that we are all growing in faith and that we need God’s grace just as much as the next person.

When someone stumbles, our response should not be condemnation but love, patience, and a willingness to help them find their way back. We must learn to correct one another in love, extend grace, and preserve the unity of the Spirit.

Are you patient with others in their moments of weakness, or do you judge them for the very struggles you also need God’s grace to overcome?

Let us be a family that restores rather than rejects, loves rather than condemns, and reflects the heart of Christ in all we do.

It’s all about Jesus. He is the centre of our faith, the reason for our hope, and the source of our salvation.

Our lives, our worship, our service, and everything we do should point back to Him. It is not about us seeking recognition or taking the glory for ourselves; it is about making Christ known and allowing His name to be glorified through us.

May our hearts always remain fixed on Jesus, and may everything we do reflect His love, reveal His goodness, and bring honour to His name.

Jesus at the centre, always and forever. All glory belongs to Him!

Hospitality is more than being kind to people. It is a way of showing God’s love through how we welcome, serve, and care for others.

Sometimes, the doors we pray for are connected to how we treat the people God brings into our lives. A welcoming heart, a generous spirit, and a willingness to make room for others can create opportunities for meaningful relationships and divine connections.

Hebrews 13:2 reminds us not to neglect showing hospitality to strangers, because some have welcomed angels without knowing it.

As we walk through our Month of Open Doors, may God help us become people who open our hearts and homes to others, showing kindness without expecting anything in return.

You never know what God can do through a simple act of hospitality.
