With the aim of achieving economic success, staff, volunteers and business people strive to keep their areaโ€™s economic conditions at a level where businesses and residents willingly and enthusiastically risk

their capital in their community in the hope of making a profit. Everything else the Chamber does is a means to an end (events, mixers, fundraisers and meetings).

A beautiful afternoon on the golf course made for the perfect setting for our June Mixer!

Thank you to Fort in View Golf Course for hosting and sponsoring this month's event and helping bring our Chamber community together. It was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon connecting with local business leaders, professionals, and community partners.

We were also pleased to welcome Board Members Melissa Saretsky and Pierre Lautischer, who joined us for the afternoon.

Week 3 of the Fort Saskatchewan Farmers' Market presented by Shell Scotford was another success! As Fort Saskatchewan wrapped up its Pride Week celebrations, the community came together to shop local, connect, and celebrate.

A big thank you to Dow, this week's sponsor, for handing out Market Bucks and helping support our amazing local vendors and shoppers!

With 62 vendors on site, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of local products, delicious treats, and handcrafted goods while celebrating everything our community has to offer.

As a founder of a business I thought I had planned for natural disasters like fire but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I realized that I could be the disaster. I was forced to make business decisions quickly when I was not at my best mentally. Killick Leadership survived and it taught me the critical importance of a strong team and also knowing that team well.
