Inspired by the all too common frustrations with the health care system and services EOD patients and their family's endure, Bernie Travis founded Early Onset Dementia Alberta in the fall of 2011 with the help of a handful of representatives across Alberta. Today the Early Onset Dementia Alberta Foundation (EODAF) provides support, direction, resources and assistance to persons under 65 living with dementia, their care partners and their families.
