Can I introduce you to Michael Moore? She's an incredible human, a good friend, and you need to hear about the amazing work she is doing:

Michael and I go WAY back. We actually took our first PDC course together. And then worked together on our very first consultation job. (And were paid in chickens! Lol).

Today, Michael runs GenesisPermaculture, helping others create beautiful and functional Permaculture landscapes and gardens. AND she is the president of the Edmonton Permaculture Guild.

I am SUPER excited that Michael is a guest speaker for THIS weekend's workshop in Edmonton. The workshop is all about training those there on how to design & create their dream yard and property to be BEYOND sustainable.

Michael's talk is on "Permaculture Around The World"! Prepare to be inspired.

Way back in 2011, following my graduation from a pretty incredible Permaculture Design Certification program with Verge Permaculture, I traveled to Jordan to attend the International permaculture Conference and Convergence. What an awe inspiring journey!

Almost 300 delegates from around the world gathered in Amman Jordan for a Conference featuring some of the most incredible people from around the world doing earth repair work.

It was an intense experience! Each presenter more profound than the one previous - as if that was even possible!

Bill Mollison talking about patterns made the hairs on my arms and legs rise up and gave me goosebumps! His words spoke to my very DNA!

The following week 278 of us went into the desert of Wadi Rum to hold our Convergence at a Bedouin Camp. We were treated like royalty. Day after day we heard of the work being conducted all around the world by our fellow Permaculture Practitioners. It lit me on fire.... Although how that is even possible after just recently completing My permaculture design certification program. I was still very much on a high from that experience.

We rode camels and saw the patterns of water across the sands. Water in the desert? Oh yes!

Our adventures continued to visit the Greening the desert site and I along with a small group traveled to the Westbank to visit Permaculture farms there.

Graduating with a PDC, This trip and the tools that were given to me through this certification, set me on a path to create my own Permaculture Company and 16 years of earth repair and community building 🌿💕
A journey of love, learning, exploration and deep connection to the earth and community 🌿

We are looking for Board Members to join our organization. Is this you?

Our guild was formed way back in 2007 and has experienced many incredible and memorable moments over the years. From Harvest Festivals, Gargantuan Picnics, Permies at the Pub, Children's Permaculture Camp and of course, one of our very favorite events, the Resilience Festival!

Our guild was able to provide these services and events thanks to the many volunteers that have come forward over the years to donate their time, enthusiasm, ideas and experience to make this guild a success.
