Well, I’m not sure how you will appreciate this spiralling shot of the Eiffel Tower and I promise not to quit my day job!

What I am sure about is that this coming Monday, May 25, from 6-9pm we meet again at St.Joseph’s High School. Turnout has been excellent of late, hopefully we can continue that trend.
Bring your items for sale, participate in our prize draws and geek out with your fellow philatelists for a few hours -

I look forward to seeing everyone, until then enjoy your weekend !

Good afternoon fellow Philatelists!

It is wonderful to see the first buds of May showing in Edmonton! Our Monday, May 11, 2026, Edmonton Stamp Club meeting at St. Joseph High School is a perfect way to celebrate the season.
The club continues its tradition of fostering a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere for collectors of all levels.
Not a member? No problem. We will show you around and you can decide whether this exciting hobby is for you -

Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: St.Joseph High School, 10830–109 Street NW, Edm.
Entrance & Parking: Attendees are encouraged to park in the north lot and use the southeast entrance to reach the main cafeteria.

Early arrival is recommended to enjoy chats with your peers and to participate in same-day auctions, including silent and consignment formats.

Presentation: A subject matter expert will provide an informative philatelic presentation during the evening.

It is truly a pleasure to see the club's 2026 meetings seeing such strong attendance!

Hope to see you there - joe / ESC 🌞

Hello fellow collectors -

I received a phone call from Pastor Anne of the St. Albert United Church. "We have a large bag of stamps" . As President of the Edmonton Stamp Club would you be interested? "Of course!" I replied.

My first call was to Keith Spencer. One of our resident appraisers. He was all excited to go through these.

This morning, after Church service, Pastor Anne handed me a Laura bag full of goodies ( see photo) . Keith will have some fun. Bag weighs by my estimate 17.5 pounds!

We have a record number of forty-two junior members in the Edmonton stamp club. Keith will decide how to lot these.

Happy collecting everyone -

Our next Club meeting will be at St Joseph High School on Monday, April 27 from 6-9 PM - please mark your calendar.

As always, there will be time to catch up with each other, to put in your bids in both, our silent and our regular auction - or perhaps even post your own lots for sale!

If you are not an ESC member, but are interested in collecting stamps swing by for a free introduction to our club and what we do. Please check in with our membership colleagues when you get there.

See you soon,
