Today is Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

Whether you're looking to learn more, prioritize your own breast health, or support women facing breast cancer, here are a few upcoming ways to get involved:

🩷 In This House Impact Series
October 13 | 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Learn more about Compassion House Foundation, hear stories of impact, and discover how we support women who must travel to Edmonton for cancer treatment.

🩷 Get Obsessed With Your Breasts 2026
October 17 | 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Canada Diagnostic Centre, 109 Street Edmonton
Appointments include a 15-minute breast consultation with a physician, followed by a screening mammogram. Open to women aged 40+ with no breast concerns or implants.

🩷 Edmonton Oil Kings: United Against Cancer
October 18 | 4:00 p.m.
Jersey and stick raffle in support of Compassion House Foundation. Click the link in our bio for Compassion House supporter tickets.

🩷 Compassion in Your Community: Lloydminster
October 22 | 6:00-8:00 p.m.
An evening in support of Compassion House Foundation, featuring stories of impact and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

🩷 Rally for Compassion
October 23-25
Padel Zone
A padel and pickleball tournament in support of Compassion House Foundation. Fifty percent of tournament entry fees and 100% of silent auction proceeds will be donated.

Join us on October 22 for an evening of inspiring stories, appetizers and refreshments, and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, this event is complimentary to attend. This is a fundraiser, and there will be an ask to give in support of women who must travel to Edmonton for cancer treatment.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Since opening our doors, more than 60% of guests have been affected by breast cancer. This number reflects the significant impact breast cancer continues to have and highlights the importance of access to treatment, support, and community.

On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember, reflect, and acknowledge the lasting impacts of Residential Schools.

Yesterday, we gathered to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors, their families, and communities.

Our House is located on the traditional lands of Treaty 6 Territory and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We honour and respect the histories, languages, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and all First Peoples of Canada.
