Today is and we're been thinking about ripples. Over two decades ago, Change for Children began partnering with communities in Nicaragua to support water systems — practical, community-managed solutions designed to last.
At the time, the goal was clear: improve water access, protect health, and support daily life.
But those systems also created ripples, locally and globally.
And over time, those ripples became something of a legacy of leadership, stewardship, knowledge, and care.
As we mark hashtag , we’re celebrating not only access to safe water, but the local and global communities who continue to steward it every day.
