Luis works for the City of Edmonton ensuring the smooth operation of 911 systems — and he brings that same commitment to his volunteer work at Ronald McDonald House.
A proud member of the 1000 Hour Society, Luis and his wife, Ashley, are passionate community volunteers. When they’re not helping others, they’re camping, fishing, or hanging out with their four cats and corgi 🐾⛺

Meet Dave, our awesome Director at Large 🙌
A proud Winnipegger-turned-Edmontonian, Dave has called YEG home for 13 years. By day, he’s a District Manager who travels across North Central Alberta — and by night, a dedicated community volunteer and sports fan. 🏒🏈🏀
Dave joined the Red Shoe Society to give back to the city he loves and to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House.

Leah is a Chartered Accountant who joined Red Shoe to share her expertise and support a cause she’s truly passionate about — helping families stay close when they need it most.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Leah loves spending time with her husband, kids, and adorable miniature dachshunds 🐶, watching movies, and cooking up something delicious! 🍝

Jimmy’s connection to Ronald McDonald House is personal — when his son
needed to stay in the NICU, he saw firsthand how important it is to support families
during tough times.
That experience inspired him to give back through volunteering, fundraising, and
cooking Meals that Mend for families at the House. 🍲❤
Thank you, Jimmy, for your compassion and commitment to keeping families close.

Meet Deji, our amazing Vice President 🙌
His journey with Ronald McDonald House began when he volunteered with a U of A group decorating Christmas socks with the kids — and he’s been involved ever since! 🎄❤️
From cooking Meals that Mend to joining the Red Shoe Society board in 2022, Deji continues to give his time and energy to support families.
When he’s not volunteering, you’ll find him on the soccer field ⚽ or exploring new places 🌍

Say hi to Raelynn, our President of the Red Shoe Society Edmonton ❤️
Her journey with Ronald McDonald House began 8+ years ago when she cooked her first Meals that Mend dinner for families — and she’s been giving back ever since!
From co-founding a student fundraising group to volunteering weekly at the House, Raelynn’s passion led her to join the board in 2019.
Now as President, she’s leading RSS in building community and raising funds to keep families together when they need it most. 🏠✨

The 7th Annual Brews with the Red Shoes is back! Join the Red Shoe Society Edmonton on Saturday, December 6th for our signature pub night fundraiser.
We’re aiming to raise crucial funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Alberta, ensuring families with seriously ill children have a compassionate “home away from home” right here in Edmonton.
What to Expect: 🍻 Your first welcome drink is included! 🎁 Incredible Silent Auction (get your holiday shopping done for a great cause!) 💰 50/50 Raffle 🏒 Catch the Edmonton Oilers vs. Winnipeg Jets game on the big screen!
