We’re grateful to the Bad Birdies Golf community for raising $17,980 in support of WIN House.

Meet Chiamaka, our Communications Content Officer on the Development team!

Chiamaka was drawn to WIN House by its mission and the chance to use her communications skills to support women. She enjoys bringing creativity to fundraising initiatives, sharing the work happening across WIN House, and finding ways to connect people with the organization.

One thing Chiamaka hopes people understand is that no two stories are the same. Through her work, she has seen the many ways people are supported at WIN House and how that support can help our residents move forward.

What inspires Chiamaka most are the stories of the people we serve, the dedication of the WIN House team, and the resilience she sees every day. She is also inspired by the generosity of the community and knowing that this work continues every hour, every day.

We’re grateful for the creativity, care, and dedication Chiamaka brings to her work every day! 💜

For over 56 years, WIN House has been a safe haven for women, children and gender-diverse people fleeing violence. Across our three shelters, we offer far more than a bed, and every gift, large or small, helps keep our doors open.

In 2025-2026 alone, WIN House:

🧸 Provided 844 hours of childcare
