Clean Climate Action Grants provide $500 or $1,000 to help Nova Scotia youth take action on climate change in their schools and communities. Applicants can apply individually or as a class with support from a teacher or adult mentor.

Host a future leader through the 2027 Clean Leadership Summer Internship Program.

Participating employers receive wage funding and access to resources designed to support a successful internship experience. The program helps connect employers with talented youth eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainability-focused roles.

Did you know that some of the EcoSchools Action Cards are specific to Nova Scotia?

Created with support from Divert NS, this card helps pre-primary to Grade 12 learners with practical ways to reduce waste, improve sorting and turn everyday materials into hands-on environmental learning.

🗑️ Conduct a waste audit:
- How much waste does your school produce in a day?
- How many recyclables or compostables end up in the garbage?

This action card guides learners as they collect, sort and measure school waste. They can then use the results to improve sorting habits and spark new waste-reduction ideas.

It's designed to be local, relevant and engaging for Nova Scotia learners from pre-primary to Grade 12.
