This week, the Pride flag will be raised at College of the Rockies in honour of Pride Month.

Raising the Pride flag is one way we recognize and celebrate LGBTQ2S+ communities, while also reaffirming our shared responsibility to help create learning and working environments where everyone feels respected, included, and supported.

We invite College employees, students, and alumni to consider joining the LGBTQ2S Advisory Committee. The committee provides advice, perspectives, and support for initiatives that strengthen inclusion and belonging at the College.

The College's LGBTQ2S Advisory Committee will be hosting a webinar for college employees this week on how to contribute to safer, more inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ colleagues, students, and community members. Find out more on the events calendar.

Another successful Pride in the Park! Yipeeeee!

We want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who helped make this event such a success.

This year's event saw a fantastic turnout, and none of it would have been possible without the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help everything run smoothly. From setup, cleanup, support, face painting, and everything in between, your contributions helped create a welcoming, joyful, and safe space for our community to celebrate Pride together.

A heartfelt thank you to Dylan, Danika, Yvonne, Maddie, Carrie, Straun, Kristen, Faethe, Danyka, Constance, Dawn, and Ria.
We are so so so grateful for your support.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to those who volunteered and prefer to remain anonymous. Your help was every bit as valuable and appreciated, and we are grateful that you chose to spend your time supporting our community.

Events like Pride in the Park are only possible because people step forward to help. Thank you for showing up, lending a hand, and helping create such a wonderful day. We couldn't have done it without you.
