It's that time of year. We are again looking for clean crushed eggshells to put around our peas. They can be dropped off just inside the garden on the give away platform. Thanks.

On April 18th, Mary Cosman presented a 'Seed Saving' workshop with New Horizons for Seniors funding through Farm Folk City Folk and the support of the Cranbrook Public Library. The workshop was held at the Manual Training School and 15 people attended the event. Thanks to Mary for all the information and practical gardening tips for growing and saving our own seeds

We look forward to a follow up 'hands on' workshop in September at the Public Produce Garden. People will be given opportunity to collect and save seeds at the event.

We are in search of metal garden rakes (2 or 3) for our public produce garden. These would be used for raking soil, gravel, heavier things than just leaves. Any donations gratefully appreciated.
