The Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies sincerely appreciates our long-standing working relationship with the Columbia Basin Trust, including this amazing, one-time donation of $220,000 to grow our community endowment funds in Cranbrook ($70,000), Elkford Community Fund - CFKR ($50,000), Sparwood Community Fund - CFKR ($50,000) and Fernie Community Fund - CFKR ($50,000).

In response to the devastating tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, the Northeast Regional Community Foundation, a trusted non-profit in the region, has created the Tumbler Ridge Community Resiliency Fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide sustained, community-guided support in the months and years ahead, focussing on long-term healing and evolving community needs.

Are you a CRA-registered charity in the health, education, environment, or social services sectors that is working to address food insecurity? If so, this contest may be for you!

4 grand prize donations of $100,000—one to a charity in Quebec, one to a charity in Ontario, one to a charity in Western Canada and one to a charity in Northern Canada or Atlantic Canada.

8 donations of $10,000

12 charities will be chosen and submitted for a public vote.
