🧡 National Indigenous Peoples Day 🧡

Join us for our annual National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration as we come together to honour and celebrate Indigenous culture, community, and connection.

We'll have drumming, dancing, beading, pine needle weaving, traditional games, and more!

Join us this month for a variety of welcoming, play-based mornings designed for children and caregivers to connect, learn, and explore together.

☕ May 1 – Grandmother / Mother’s Tea
📍 Chief Joseph Center, 1007 Baker St

A warm and welcoming morning to gather, share tea, and honour the care, knowledge, and connection between mothers, grandmothers, children, and families.

🚗 May 8 – Car Seat Safety
📍 Chief Joseph Center, 1007 Baker St

A supportive and informative session focused on car seat safety, helping caregivers build confidence and knowledge to keep children safe while on the road.

🎶 May 15 – Music in the Park
📍 Rotary Park, Cranbrook

A joyful morning of music, movement, and outdoor play as children and caregivers connect through songs and activities with Mackenzie Henry.

🌱 May 29 – Planting the Garden
📍 710 18 Ave N (by Save-On-Foods)

A hands-on morning of planting and outdoor exploration as children and caregivers connect with nature and learn together.
