For the next month, our Guild's History Project will be featured in the display case at the Cranbrook Public Library. Be sure to stop by and view a small selection of the many quilts that have been registered and documented through this important initiative.

While you're there, scan the QR code to explore the project's website, where you'll find extensive information about the quilts and the individuals who created them. Each quilt has been carefully documented, and you can use the CQG number listed on the display label to access details about the specific quilt and its maker.

This project was made possible through the collaboration of our valued partner, the Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History, whose expertise and support were instrumental in bringing it to completion. Funding was provided in part by the RDEK ReDi Grants program and Heritage BC's Heritage Legacy Fund.

Our Community Quilts committee put out a display for members to see the number of quilts that are being distributed to comfort members of our community. These quilts were made by guild members and donated to the program. This effort has been continuing since the inception of our group in 1985, and we distribute several times each year.
