From Kindergarten to Grade 7, students enjoyed learning in a fun and safety-focused environment.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff for the warm welcome!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer firefighters and Friends of the Firefighters who donated their time and energy to make the day a success.

A special shout-out to the Regional District of Central Kootenay FireSmart team for providing the learning props, and to the Robson Fire Department for making this event possible.

See you Saturday from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Tempo Robson-Gas, Liquor & Grocery

We’ll be set up to provide information on Fire Prevention and give you a chance to support our hall with a $30 purchase a one-of-a-kind Robson Fire Department Supporter T-shirts featuring our custom logo.

Huge shout out to Endless Adventure Kayaking and Rafting in the Kootenays BC for supporting our annual summer social. Endless Adventure provided the paddle boards and equipment that helped make the evening a success.

So, what do we actually do at our monthly meetings?
We plan community events like our upcoming Fire Prevention Week activities and Halloween bash. We talk training, safety and all the other important stuff that goes into running a volunteer fire department. We also eat together, laugh a little, and work toward being the best department we can be for our community.

And then there’s the fun stuff.
Our summer social gives us a chance to get out of the fire hall, build some trust and strengthen the relationships that are so important when we have to work together in tough situations. We play, laugh, compete and spend some time on the water together.

A big thanks to our community for all the support we receive from the local businesses, families and individuals who donate, volunteer and show up for our events. It means a lot.

Happy Fire Prevention Week!

🚨The Robson Volunteer Fire Department will be out in the community next week.🚨

We’ll be at Robson Community School on Tuesday, October 6 for a Fire Prevention Awareness Day with students and staff.

Come see us at Tempo Gas Station (aka Johnnie’s) on Saturday, October 10 from 9–11 AM. We’ll have some fire prevention information, giveaways and a chance to chat with local firefighters.

Our Proud Supporter Robson Fire Department T-shirts will be available for purchase for $30. Our awesome and unique shirts were inspired by our community logo design contest. We recieved 7 excellent logo submissions and the "Lions Head Logo" was selected by our team after careful consideration. Proceeds go towards community safety and support initiatives.

Hope to see you out there. 🔥🔋🚒🧯❤️

COMPLETE FIRE BAN REMINDER

The Robson Fire Department would like to remind everyone we are currently under a complete fire ban. This means ALL open burning and campfires are strictly prohibited.

Please do your part. A fire ban is in place for a reason. With dry conditions, even a small campfire can quickly become an uncontrolled wildfire, putting our homes, families, firefighters, and community at risk.

If you see an illegal fire, please report it. Let’s all do our part to keep Robson and the surrounding communities safe!

To report a wildfire, a campfire, or an open burning violation in British Columbia, call 1-800-663-5555 toll-free or *5555 on a cell phone. You can also submit details and photos directly through the free BC Wildfire Service App. For structural or immediate life-threatening property fires, call 9-1-1.

🚨 Exciting News from Robson Volunteer Fire Department 🚨

After years of training, preparation, and tireless dedication from our members, Auto Extrication has officially been added to Robson Volunteer Fire Department’s run card.

RVFD will now be providing auto extrication services for Area J, including Robson, Brilliant, and Pass Creek, as well as providing mutual aid assistance to Ootischenia when needed.

This addition marks an important step forward for our department and community, helping us better serve residents and respond more effectively during motor vehicle incidents.

As we prepare for this change, we’d also like to remind the public to please slow down and move over when you see emergency responders working on our roadways. Keeping first responders safe allows us to continue helping others safely and efficiently.

A big thankyou to Ernies Used Auto Parts for providing vehicles and a safe environment to use for our practice scenarios and supporting the hands on experience

Here’s to continued growth, training, and service to our community. 🚒

What a great Easter in Robson 🐰

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our Easter event such a success.
It was so much fun seeing the kids excitement, bikes all decorated, spraying the fire hose, checking out the equipment, and having something to eat.

Most of all, it was a chance to spend time together as a community, which is what the day is really about.

A HUGE thank you to our local sponsors and their donations for helping make it all possible, and to the Easter Bunny for taking time out of a busy day to stop by!

We appreciate the continued support from this community. We love Robson!
