Our Annual Chalk Walk is back!

Grab some chalk and help us turn downtown Castlegar into a colourful community canvas.

Find buckets of chalk along 3rd Street this weekend and create your own masterpiece as you make your way from Kinsmen Park to Nordic Studio (where we will be having our Art Walk Opening on Friday, June 5th from 6 to 8 pm).

Whether it’s doodles, murals, messages, or imaginative designs, we can’t wait to see the creativity you bring to the route!

Be sure to snap a photo of your artwork and tag us so we can celebrate your creations with the community.

That’s a wrap on our final workshop of the season! Our Watercolour Landscapes session with Lauren Carnahan was filled with creativity, colour, and so many beautiful artistic moments.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their creativity, and a special thank you to Lauren for leading such an inspiring workshop!

We loved seeing all the unique landscapes and techniques come to life throughout the session.

From colourful glass petals to handcrafted tulip earrings, this jewelry workshop was full of creativity, connection, and sparkle.

Participants learned hands-on techniques, explored vibrant materials, and left with one-of-a-kind pieces they could proudly wear.

Our Mushroom Fairy House workshop turned simple clay into magical little homes! With guidance from Lana Jamieson of Black Earth Ceramics, participants crafted whimsical creations full of personality and charm.
