🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - EVERY CHILD MATTERS 🧡
September 30, 2026

Today, (and every day after) Tributes to Dionysus honours the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, their families, and Indigenous communities across Turtle Island (Canada).

As an organization built around community, education, and connection, we believe acknowledgement must be accompanied by a willingness to learn.

Reconciliation is ongoing work: listening to Indigenous voices, understanding the histories and ongoing impacts of colonialism, recognizing the lands and communities that make our gatherings possible. Specifically we must support Indigenous leadership, culture, and resurgence.

Much of our community gathers in two places:
In amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton), Treaty 6 Territory, on the lands of the nêhiyaw (Cree), Dene, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) peoples. Edmonton is also a Métis homeland and home to a diverse Inuit community.

In Moh’kinstsis (Calgary), Treaty 7 Territory, on the lands of the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Tsuut’ina, and Îethka Stoney Nakoda peoples, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney Nations. We also recognize the historic Northwest Métis and Otipemisiwak Métis Government, including the Nose Hill and Elbow Métis Districts.

We are grateful to gather, teach, learn, celebrate, and build community on these lands.
We recognize that gratitude alone is not reconciliation. The impacts of residential schools, displacement, forced assimilation, and colonial systems continue today.

Our responsibility is not limited to September 30; it includes continuing to learn, examining how we build community, making space for Indigenous voices, and supporting Indigenous people and organizations throughout the year.

Today, we remember those who were taken, honour Survivors and their families, and continue listening and learning.

✨Sun, July 19, 2026 6PM - 9PM✨

🔥Burning Curiosity: Intro to Fire Play
Foundations, safety, and building a beginner fire kit.

This three-hour workshop explores fire play foundations, safety setup, risk awareness, negotiation, emergency readiness, beginner tools, and controlled flame work.

⚠️Fire can be dramatic, beautiful, intimate, and powerful. BUT, Fireplay is not the kink to improvise without training! ❗️

✅ Participants will build a beginner fire kit to take home and learn safe handling basics.

🎟 Spaces are extremely limited for a focused, private, intimate learning experience. No tickets will be available at the door. RSVPs must be accepted and payment must be completed before attending.

This Non-Monogamy Visibility Week, we’re celebrating our polyamorous, open, ethically, and consensually non-monogamous members. We recognise that relationships do not need to follow one prescribed shape to be loving, committed, or valid. 💜

Tough and Rumble: Rough Body Play for Kink
Rough play can be hot, primal, playful, intense, and deeply connective; but rough should never mean careless.

💪 This body-aware workshop explores, controlled pressure, primal-style play, grabbing, pinning concepts, negotiation, pacing, and safer physical intensity.

🎟 Spaces are extremely limited for a more focused, intimate learning experience. Pre-purchasing is strongly recommended.
