Today, our Junior Miss Alberta titleholders joined community events recognizing National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

For our young titleholders, today is an opportunity to listen, learn and better understand an important part of Canada’s history.

We believe that teaching the next generation about kindness, respect, understanding and the importance of listening to Indigenous voices is an important part of moving forward together.

Today, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and remember the children who never returned home.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Contract signing ✍️

It’s been 1 week since our new queens signed their titleholder contracts.

This is an important moment for these girls. They learn about the importance of their role & what their reigns will be like. Then they agree to be role models on their best behaviour & sign our agreement (along with a parent 🙂).

This is a lesson in responsibility & commitment and is a lesson they will take with them through life. It’s just one of the ways we help develop future community leaders.

We’re seeking make-up artists and who want to take part in an empowerment program for Alberta girls.

The Junior Miss Alberta pageant is looking for artists who would like to showcase their talent & volunteer.

These will be some of the most precious clients you’ll ever have a chance to work with. 😃

Time commitment: 11:30am to 2:30pm

This past weekend our Calgary contestants met with our judging panel for their pageant interviews.

Our judges did a great job of setting up a friendly environment, where the contestants can let their personality shine 💖

Each contestant had five minutes with our judges.

These interviews are one of the ways that separates us from other kids pageants that are just focussed on a day of performance. Where we are focussed on helping provide development for kids and teaching them important life skills.
