On September 26 & 27, Alberta hosted a TG National Trampoline Training Camp at Airdrie Edge Gymnastics! 🙌

The camp brought together 23 of Alberta’s Level 4 and up athletes, with Martin Myers from Ontario leading the camp. In addition to working with our athletes, Martin also led a coach education session focused on skill development and refinement, providing a great opportunity for Alberta coaches to learn and collaborate! 💪

Colton Kent from CGC also took on a presenter role, working with our Alberta athletes throughout the camp. 👏

Thank you to Natalie Gurnsey from Thrive Academy for coming out and sharing valuable time-management techniques with our athletes! ✨

A big thank you to all of the coaches who came together to assist and help make this camp a successful and valuable experience for our athletes. And, of course, thank you to all of the athletes who participated! 🤩

We look forward to sharing more information about our upcoming National Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline Training Camp! ⭐️

Each year, September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

This day honours those who were affected, and those who continue to feel the effects of residential schools. Recognition of this tragic and painful history is a crucial start to the reconciliation process.

Orange Shirt Day is a commemorative day led by Indigenous peoples to raise awareness about the intergenerational impacts of residential schools on children, families, and communities. It honours those children who were lost in the residential school system.

We support the Orange Shirt Society in encouraging all Canadians to wear orange as we celebrate the resilience and healing of the Survivors and their loved ones, and declare that EVERY CHILD MATTERS. 🧡
