CFT7 was honoured to be invited to participate in CANDO’s Economic Development Youth Summit this past week. Seven teams presented their plans based on an economic development case study, and every team did an incredible job. Their presentations were thoughtful, professional, and impressive. Shawna had the difficult task of serving on the judges’ panel—we didn’t envy her with so many strong presentations.

The event also featured presentations from Rob Shotclose on Indigenous economic development and Robyn Soulier-Richot on public speaking, both of which offered valuable insights and inspiration.

The summit wrapped up with awards and a gala, providing a great opportunity to celebrate the youths hard work and connect with others in the economic development community.

The event filled with good company, meaningful conversations, and plenty of inspiring ideas. We’re grateful to have been part of it!
