What a weekend at the Rogers Charity Classic! 🎪
 
We had an amazing time meeting so many new people, sharing the impact of our Social Circus programming, and bringing a little Green Fools magic to the event.
 
Our crew included stilt walkers, a magician, a balloon artist, and some of our incredible Social Circus kids, who got to be part of the action and show what circus is all about.
 
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, play, learn more about what we do, and support Green Fools. And an extra special thank you to our incredible team who showed up, brought the energy, and represented Green Fools so wonderfully.

Green Fools will be at Pixel Park this Friday with hands-on circus workshops from 3 PM to 6 PM!
 
Come try your hand at:
🤹 Juggling: scarves, balls, rings, clubs, plate spinning, poi, diabolo & flower sticks
🎪 Balancing: slackline, crazy leg stilts & rola bola
 
Pixel Park is all about getting off the screens, getting outside, and connecting through play, so naturally, we’re bringing the circus into the game.

🎬 Movie night just got a little more colourful!

Green Fools will be at Movie on The Rise this Thursday, bringing face painting to St. Patrick’s Island for a night of movies, treats and summer fun under the stars.
 
Settle in on The Rise for a double screening of A Bug’s Life and 10 Things I Hate About You, and stop by to add a little colour to your movie night with one of our face painters.

What an incredibly fun day at the Chasing Summer Festival!

Our amazing body paint artists Amanda and Shauna were there representing Bacardi, bringing five pre-approved designs to life and making festival-goers look absolutely AMAZING!
 
With a steady stream of creative attendees ready to get painted, these two talented ladies were in their element! Each design was completed in under 4 minutes to keep the line moving—and they absolutely CRUSHED it!
 
There were definitely a few festival elements to navigate along the way (hello, heat and wind! 😂), but as always, Amanda and Shauna stayed professional, creative, and totally fabulous throughout it all.
 
Thank you to Amanda, Shauna and Bacardi for hosting us, you made everyone look SO GOOD! 🔥

Demand for Social Circus continues to grow, but reductions and restructuring in arts funding have dramatically impacted our ability to provide programming at the scale we once could.

In previous years, Green Fools had the capacity to support programs serving hundreds of young people. Today, Social Circus programs are limited to approximately 14 participants per session, with 3 sessions per year.

For every young person we are able to reach, there are many more still waiting for the opportunity to experience the confidence, connection, creativity, and sense of belonging that Social Circus provides.

Your support helps keep programs free, expand access, support skilled facilitators, provide circus equipment, and reach more youth through community partnerships and outreach.

Together, we can help more young people land in safety, find their balance, and rise up & soar.

🎪 Only one week until the circus comes alive! A few spots are still available in our August Summer Circus & Aerial Camps for Ages 7–9.

This is your child’s chance to spend a week learning amazing circus skills, making new friends, building confidence, and discovering talents they never knew they had.

Campers will explore:

🤹 Juggling, diabolo, plate spinning, flower sticks, and poi to build coordination and focus.

⚖️ Rola-bola, tight wire, and slack line as they challenge their balance and grow their confidence.

🚲 Unicycling, stilt walking, and walking barrels for exciting skills they’ll be eager to show off.

🤸 Acrobatics and partner balancing to develop strength, teamwork, and trust.

✨ Aerial arts, where they’ll climb, swing, and soar with the guidance of our experienced instructors.

Every day is filled with movement, creativity, laughter, and unforgettable memories in a welcoming environment where every child can succeed.
