Today, our hearts are heavy. We grieve alongside our city and hold Parker's family, friends, and everyone who loved him especially close during this unimaginable time.

In moments like these, we're reminded of the importance of community, compassion, and showing up for one another. We encourage everyone to continue extending kindness and support to those who are hurting.

We are thinking of Parker, his loved ones, and all those affected by this profound loss. 💙

In the last few days, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area learned of the passing of David Pickersgill.

David's decades of leadership, mentorship, volunteerism, and philanthropy helped shape Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary & Area and the mentoring movement across Canada. His unwavering belief that every young person deserves someone in their corner has left a lasting impact on our organization and on countless lives.

We are deeply grateful for David's remarkable service and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thank you, David. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

What an incredible !

It was a pleasure for our team to be out and about representing Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area connecting with so many amazing people, strengthening existing relationships, and making new ones along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us, invite us to events, and chat about the work we're doing to support young people in our community. Your generosity, conversations, and enthusiasm remind us just how special Calgary is during Stampede.
