The tickets are sold, the fun is planned, and we’re getting ready for a fabulous afternoon of 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻!

We’ve also got a little help from some fabulous friends, Cut Cooking is providing the 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 for the CRAFT chefs, and we hear some cheeky 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 are making their way to us from Grey Fox Brewing

Our first 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗙 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 last night and WOW! 💚

Ten amazing teens joined Cinde Little from Everyday GF Gourmet to make Brazilian cheese buns and cookies, finishing with a taste test!

Watching them connect, share stories and enjoy cooking together was such a joy. By the end, they’d even created their own group chat! 🥰

My heart was so full.

Thank you, Cinde, for leading such a wonderful evening.
Thank you to the parents for supporting us.
And 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗣! 🙌

Today, on 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, we pause to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

We recognize that reconciliation is not something that happens in a single day. It asks us to listen, learn, reflect, and continue to better understand the truths and experiences of Indigenous Peoples.

Today, we encourage our community to take time to learn, reflect, and honour.
