🎓 Together, we exceeded our goal! 💛

Every contribution helps us continue our mission of removing financial barriers to education and supporting Yemeni students in pursuing their university studies.

While this campaign has come to a close, our commitment to supporting students throughout their educational journeys continues.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our campaign, and helped make this possible! 💛

Stay tuned as we introduce Waseela’s first scholarship recipients!

🎓 What does it take to get a midwifery student ready for university?

The tools needed to learn and train can add up quickly: a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, blood sugar monitor, syringes, gloves and more.

Together, these essentials can cost around $175, an added expense for a student already navigating the costs of university.

This back-to-school season, we’re raising $2,000 to help remove barriers like school supplies, registration, books and transportation for Yemeni students pursuing their education. 💛

Your support helps make education more accessible, one cost at a time.

🎓 One scholarship. A lifetime of impact.

We recently shared where we are in Waseela’s Scholarship Program. As we get closer to selecting our first scholarship recipients, we’re continuing to raise funds to support them throughout their university journey.

This back-to-school season, our goal is to raise $2,000 CAD toward Waseela’s Scholarship Program. These funds will help cover costs like registration fees, books and transportation for students in Aden and Taiz.

Our commitment doesn’t end with one campaign. We’ll continue raising funds to help our scholars stay in school and progress toward graduation. 💛

Every contribution helps us build lasting support for their education.

This year, your generosity is helping support Yemeni students in pursuing their education. 💛

Since our Ramadan campaign, we’ve been working to turn your support into meaningful, long-term impact through Waseela’s Scholarship Program. 🎓

We’ve now received applications from students in Aden and Taiz, and our Board is carefully reviewing each one as we work toward selecting our first scholarship recipients.

Through this program, we aim to help remove financial barriers and give students the opportunity to begin their university studies.

Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing more updates as we move forward with the selection process.

Education can change the course of a life.

For some students in Yemen, the challenge isn’t motivation or ability - it’s having access to the resources needed to continue their studies and pursue their goals.

Today, we’re sharing Farah’s story and celebrating the progress she has made on her educational journey.

Thank you to everyone whose generosity helps create opportunities like these.

🍩🧁Aswan turned her passion for baking into a small home-based pastry business.

With support from Waseela’s livelihood program, what began as a simple idea is now a steady source of income helping her support her family.

Stories like Aswan’s remind us that the right support can help families rebuild and move forward with dignity.

This Ramadan, your support helps make stories like this possible.
