National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

On September 30, we remember the children who never returned home, honour residential school Survivors, and recognize the ongoing impact on Indigenous families and communities.

Our Safe Families Canada Calgary office will be closed September 30 as we take time to remember, listen, and learn.

As a new school year has started, we’re praying.

We’re praying for every child heading back to school that they would feel safe, supported, valued, and encouraged.

We’re praying for teachers and school staff as they care for and guide children each day.

We’re praying for administrators and support staff as they lead, serve, and carry the many responsibilities that come with a new school year.

And we’re praying for parents and families, for strength, wisdom, patience, and the support they need as they navigate another school year.

May our schools be places where children can learn, grow, and know that they are surrounded by people who care about them.

At Safe Families Calgary, we believe children and families thrive when caring communities come alongside them.

We’re praying for our Calgary families, schools, teachers, and children as they begin this new school year.

The 3rd Annual Safe Families Calgary Ball Hockey Tournament is just ONE MONTH away!

On Saturday, October 17, teams will hit the floor at Tyndale Christian School for a full day of ball hockey, competition, food, fun, and fundraising for families in crisis.

Become a Hope Builder for families in Calgary.

Every family deserves to have someone in their corner when life gets difficult.

Through Safe Families Calgary, caring volunteers come alongside parents who are facing challenging seasons, providing practical support, encouragement, and community. This helps families move through crisis while working toward stability and keeping children safe and families together.

We’re building a community of Hope Builders who commit to giving $20 or more each month.

Our goal is to have 200 monthly donors by December 31.

A monthly gift may seem small, but together, these consistent gifts create a strong foundation that allows Safe Families Calgary to be there when families need support.
