Safe Families Canada Calgary is built on the belief that when the Church comes together, isolated families don’t have to face crisis alone.

Through volunteers from local churches, we’re able to surround parents with practical help, friendship, encouragement, and hope, turning ministry into a movement of love in action. 🤝

🏒 THE BALL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT IS BACK! 🏒

We’re excited to be gearing up for the Third Annual Safe Families Calgary Ball Hockey Tournament Fundraiser!

After having to reschedule, we’re looking forward to bringing our community together for a great day of friendly competition, fellowship, and fun,all while helping keep children safe and families together across Calgary.

Loving God means loving people, and sometimes that love looks like opening our homes, sharing what we have, and walking alongside a family going through a difficult season.

At Safe Families Calgary, we believe no parent should have to face crisis alone. Through caring volunteers and a Circle of Support, we come alongside parents, provide practical help, and create a community of hope around families.

Hospitality isn't just welcoming someone into our home. It's making room in our lives for people who need a friend, a helping hand, or someone who will walk with them through a difficult season.

Today is the day!

Our Hope Builders Campaign officially begins!

Over the next five months, we're inviting our community to help build a stronger foundation for families in crisis across Calgary. Our goal is to welcome 200 Hope Builders who will commit to giving $20 or more each month. Together, these monthly gifts will help us recruit more volunteers, build more Circles of Support, and keep more children safe while helping families stay together.

This campaign is about more than fundraising; it's about creating a community where no parent has to face crisis alone.

What if one difficult season didn't have to become a lifelong crisis?

Every day in Calgary, parents face situations they never expected: an illness, addiction, job loss, or simply having no one they can call for help. They love their children, but they can't get through that season alone.

At Safe Families Calgary, we believe no parent should have to face crisis alone. That's why we mobilize local churches and volunteers to surround families with practical support, encouragement, mentoring, and, when needed, a safe place for children to stay temporarily. Together, we keep children safe and families together.

We've seen what happens when a community shows up, But today, we're facing a challenge. The need is growing, and without a strong foundation of monthly supporters, we can't confidently grow to meet it.

Every month, we have opportunities to serve more families, recruit more volunteers, partner with more churches, and build more Circles of Support, but predictable funding is what makes that possible.

That's why we're launching the Hope Builders Campaign.
Our goal is to welcome 200 Hope Builders who will give $20 or more each month. Together, these monthly gifts will create the stable foundation needed to keep children safe, strengthen families, and ensure no parent has to face crisis alone.
