A new arrival has landed at The Hangar Flight Museum!

We are excited to welcome a modern high-bypass CF34-8C5 engine from a Canadian-built CRJ900 to our collection. This impressive engine helps tell the story of modern aviation technology and the aircraft that connect communities across Canada and beyond.

A huge thank you to for their generous donation of the engine, and to .copters for donating their time, expertise, and resources to fabricate the display stands and safely transport the engine to its new home.

Partnerships like these help us preserve and share aviation history. Be sure to stop by and see our newest addition on your next visit.

We're honoured to see our Women in Aviation panel from Aviation Career Days featured in the Calgary Herald!

One of the highlights of the weekend was hearing from an incredible group of women who shared their experiences, challenges, and successes within the aviation industry. Their stories inspired attendees and showcased the many pathways available to future generations of aviation professionals.

A huge thank you to our panelists, Chaney Mowat, Jordyn Nickerson, Georgia Harker, Faith Henderson, and Hirra Mennon for sharing their knowledge and perspectives, and to the Calgary Herald for helping amplify these important conversations.
