We’re celebrating the musicians who paved the way. 🎶

For National Seniors Day, we honour the senior musicians whose talent, dedication, and experience helped shape Canada’s music industry and Canadian music community.

Their stories, skills, and knowledge are an important part of our musical heritage. By recognizing and learning from the musicians who came before us, we help preserve Canada’s music history while creating space for the next generation of Canadian artists to grow.

Their music shaped our past. Their knowledge helps shape our future.

Meet Tia Nova! We sat down with the Co-op member to talk about her musical journey and how our community helped transform her career.

In this spotlight interview, Tia opens up about the biggest projects she has landed through our network, the milestones she can reach now that used to be a struggle, and her advice for independent artists who are hesitant about joining the Co-op. Building a sustainable career is a lot easier when you learn together rather than alone.
