SUCCESSFUL LEARNING WITHIN THE RESTORE 🛠️🧠⚙️📝

The Youth Skills and Mentorship Program was set for two weeks, August 10th-14th and August 17th-21st.

With a total of 17 young learners, aged from 14-18, the two cohorts enjoyed a week of gaining hands-on experience with the ReStore.

From taking on activities like; organizing and merchandising products, customer service, safe tool, use, building and disassembling projects, workplace safety training, financial literacy, and resume and interview preparation.

Our young learners reported feelings more prepared for work or volunteer opportunities, improving their communication and team work skills, and gaining a better understanding of Habitat for Humanity and the ReStore’s role in the community!
