We are currently hiring one summer position thanks to the generous support of the Sto:lo Aboriginal & Employment Training (SASET) Student Employment Placement (SEP) program.

Kw’as hó:y to for supporting local youth on the trails this summer!

Application Deadline: June 26 or until position filled
Contract: July 6-August 28, 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week (must be available to work 4 days between Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm)
Pay: $22.00/hour

Next weekend we are hosting a demo day at Bear Mountain with Devinci, Orbea and Wenting's Cycle Shop. Come try a new bike or bring your own and join in the group ride. After the group ride, we will have a bbq, drinks and draw prizes.

Free Oakley's? Heck yes.

Our social ride on June 17 at Ledgeview is quickly approaching. To go along with the good vibes, free food and drinks, our friends from Oakley will be giving away a few pairs of sunnies and other goodies. Innovative Fitness Abbotsford and Walnut Grove will be on the grill and Life Cycles Bike Shop will also have some great draw prizes. Can you think of a better way to spend your Wednesday night? We can't.

This is a members only event but don't worry, if you are not a FVMBA member you can become one before the social ride. Pre-registration and a signed waiver is required. Register at the link in our bio.

On Saturday, we celebrated BC Trails Day with an invasive species removal at Bear Mountain! Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, we removed 17 garbage bags full of holy from BTLC. Thank you to Erica and for educating the group on invasive species and teaching us best practices for removing them and keeping them out of our yards!
