Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society - FVDSS A local, parent-run, support group for families with children with Down syndrome. Monthly parent evening and several family events throughout the year!

We are a group made up of families from many different backgrounds but with a significant commonality. In each of our families there is at least one member who happens to have Down syndrome. This commonality has brought us together to form a unique and supportive community committed to sharing ideas, celebrating successes and helping one another through tough times. Please join us as we continue to grow and learn together.

Time: 4:30 – 5:30pm
Location: Calvin Presbyterian Church, 33911 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford, BC
Ages: 10-18 years old

Please note these classes are subsidized by the FVDSS. Membership is free!

Come join us for our annual Outdoor Playgroup on Saturday!

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: 10 am - 12 pm (drop in at any time)
Where: Cedarbrook Spray Park - 45434 Willowstream Road, Chilliwack

Music Therapy is starting again! Led by Martin Winkel, Music Therapy can help with: communication (articulation/oral motor), social skills (turn taking, following directions), and physical development (gross motor coordination).

This event is for children with Down syndrome, ages 8–15.

Dates: Thursdays April 9 - June 11, 2026 (total of 10 weeks)
Time: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
