Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society - FVDSS A local, parent-run, support group for families with children with Down syndrome. Monthly parent evening and several family events throughout the year!

We are a group made up of families from many different backgrounds but with a significant commonality. In each of our families there is at least one member who happens to have Down syndrome. This commonality has brought us together to form a unique and supportive community committed to sharing ideas, celebrating successes and helping one another through tough times. Please join us as we continue to grow and learn together.

Music Therapy is starting again! Led by Martin Winkel, Music Therapy can help with: communication (articulation/oral motor), social skills (turn taking, following directions), and physical development (gross motor coordination).

This event is for children with Down syndrome, ages 8–15.

Dates: Thursdays April 9 - June 11, 2026 (total of 10 weeks)
Time: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Location: Calvin Presbyterian Church, 33911 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford

Please note these classes are subsidized by Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society:
Fee: Member – $120 (=$12 per therapy class)
Non-Members – $240 (=$24 per therapy class)
