Our sixth annual “Sponsor a Holiday Wish” campaign was another incredible success!
Thanks to the overwhelming support from our community, we raised over $4,890, allowing us to support over 40 vulnerable youth and their families at Terry Fox Elementary School (Abbotsford) and Beaver Creek Elementary School (Surrey).
This year, we provided brand new winter jackets, boots and sneakers to 25 students at Beaver Creek, as well as $850 in grocery gift cards to help support families at Terry Fox during the holiday season.
A huge thank you to the students and staff of Dasmesh Seva Club, who raised $955 in support of this campaign. Thank you to the principals and administrators at Terry Fox and Beaver Creek for helping us coordinate and ensuring everything was ready to be delivered in time for winter break.
Finally, we are so grateful for all the donors who sponsored wish lists, donated and spread the word about our campaign. Your continued support every year makes this all possible!
