Our Community Navigators recently had the opportunity to learn and create alongside local Indigenous artist Raphael Silver.

Traditionally named Xéy:Téleq, Raphael is a member of the Sumas First Nation in Abbotsford and has been an artist since the age of five. Throughout his journey, he has explored a variety of mediums, including acrylic, paper, metal, glass, brick, and wood.

Congratulations to the newest graduates from our Community Navigator program! This incredible program offers intensive training to people whose lived experiences make them relatable and empathetic to our friends on the street.

Some of our graduates will move on to employment in the community while we continue to offer dedicated support. We are so proud of all of the hard work and effort they have put into their personal and professional growth 💪

We also have to give a special shoutout to our Community Navigator lead, Deanne, who creates such a positive and inclusive learning environment. Together we rise!

Work hard, play hard! We know that in order to keep our minds and bodies healthy to do our work we have to take care of ourselves, and each other.

Today we escaped the office for some fun team building! What an amazing day with WildPlay Maple Ridge! 🌲☀️ We made the most of the beautiful weather while tackling treetop adventures, flying down ziplines, and trying our hand at axe throwing.
