headspace Whyalla headspace Whyalla is a free and confidential youth health service dedicated to supporting young people aged 12-25.

We support your mental health, physical and sexual health, drugs & alcohol support and education & employment. We have a No Wrong Door policy, if we are not the right place for you we will help you to connect with the best service option in our local community. Referral is easy, at your first appointment you can talk to qualified professionals about whats happening in your life, the services you access will depend on your needs and goals. headspace Whyalla has free parking and has disability access throughout the centre.

To celebrate headspace Day, we’re inviting the Whyalla community to come along, meet our team and discover how we can support young people.

Whether you’re a young person, family member, community member, stakeholder or local service provider, this is your chance to drop in, ask questions, eat a free lunch, make connections and get to know headspace Whyalla.

💚 MEET OUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS ROUND AMBASSADORS! 💚

Meet Jacob, Teacher & Football Player/Coach, and Nic, Teacher - two incredible community members who have joined us to share their perspectives on mental health, vulnerability and connection. 🗣️

🎙️ Tune in to hear Jacob and Nic speak openly about their own experiences, their unique perspectives on men’s mental health, and why checking in with yourself and the people around you is so important.

Mental Health Matters Round may be over, but checking in on your mates, talking about mental health and creating space for honest conversations should continue. 💚

Our goal has always been to unite our community, break down stigma and encourage meaningful conversations and we hope you’ll continue carrying that message forward in whatever way works for you. Whether it’s within your sporting club, friendship group, family, workplace or wider community, every conversation matters.

A huge thank you to Jacob and Nic for being so open, honest and vulnerable with us. Your contribution to Mental Health Matters Round has been astronomical, and we’re so grateful to have you both as part of the movement. 💚

Whyalla’s soccer community came together last Saturday for an incredible Mental Health Matters Round, with plenty of football, fun, smiles and, most importantly, conversations around mental health and community connection. 🙌
