Calling former residents and staff of Highgate Park! 📣

Highgate Park in Fullarton (also known as the Julia Farr Centre) holds decades of history. We are working with an experienced oral historian to record and preserve the stories of the people who lived, worked and connected with the centre.

We want to hear from:
- former Highgate Park residents
- their families
- staff with a connection to the site.

You can choose how much to share, and how much of your story becomes public.

These recorded histories will be considered for inclusion in the State Library of South Australia's Oral History Collection as well as a memorial garden planned for the former Highgate Park site.

Plans are underway to celebrate South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well in Whyalla from 1–7 October! 😊

Council is putting together a week of free activities for older residents, with plans including historic town tours, a coffee and cinema session, come-and-try activities and more.
