Looks like Mother Nature is throwing a little tantrum between Whyalla and Cowell, and Iron K**b to Kimba. So, if you're hitting those roads, just remember to pack your umbrella, your sense of adventure, and maybe a life jacket—just in case the rain decides to get a little too friendly!

Stay safe out there!

Earlier today, one of our chasers captured footage of the creek that caused the closure of the Eyre Highway between Lincoln Highway and Iron K**b.

We have never seen it that high! Have you?

Looks like the Eastern Eyre Peninsula is having a bit of a liquid party today! Just check out these impressive falls:

- Whyalla: 18.6mm (Just enough to water a houseplant!)
- Cowell: 25.6mm (Perfect for a spontaneous puddle jump!)
- Cleve: 34.6mm (Time to break out the rubber duckies!)
- Wudinna: 79.4mm (Whoa, Wudinna, did you order the monsoon special?)

Now, for tomorrow’s forecast: models have pulled back on the rain expectations, predicting between 7mm and 27mm for Whyalla. But let's be honest—this is weather we’re talking about, so it could sprinkle, pour, or just decide to play hard to get. And hey, “thunderstorm activity” sounds fancy, but let's just hope it doesn’t throw a party in your backyard!

So remember, if you’re looking for the exact timing of thunderstorms like some kind of weather psychic, you might end up just as confused as a cat in a bathtub.
Nature keeps its secrets!

Stay dry and don’t forget your umbrella, or a boat! You may need one!

If you’re scratching your head about why we haven’t shared the rainfall totals for the Eastern Eyre Peninsula yet, let's break it down for you: it’s because the Bureau of Meteorology’s fancy website seems to have decided that it’s nap time! Oops! So, instead of accurate weather stats, we’ve got a mysterious black hole where information should be. Who knew that Mother Nature would throw a rain party, and the weather station RSVP’d "not available"? Classic timing, right?

But hey! Are you enjoying the rain?

Did someone order a side of Thunderstorms with their regular weather? We hope you’ve got your umbrella handy because it sounds like your delivery is just around the corner!

Hey, Whyalla, are you in on this or what? It's hard to keep track these days with delivery services acting like they're on a coffee break. Just remember, if the thunder's rumbling, it might be your storm showing up fashionably late! Better late than never, right?

Stay safe out there!

Alright, folks, we have a weather model for the next three days! Does that mean we'll definitely get 133.6mm of rain? Absolutely not! It could be less, it might be more—especially if those sneaky thunderstorms decide to throw a party our direction.

So, while we hope for the best, it wouldn’t hurt to prepare for an indoor swimming pool if necessary! Just remember, we can only read data, but if you’re expecting us to control the weather and be 100% accurate, you might as well ask for it to snow here.

Stay safe!
