🎨 Free Face Painting for kids – 10:30am–1:30pm
☕ Café Open – Barista coffee & limited bakery available – come grab a coffee and enjoy seeing ceramics pieces by local artists!

TODAY IS GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY - 28 MARCH 2026
https://www.globalrecyclingday.com/

Today is all about rethinking waste… and seeing opportunity. Recycling plays a vital role in protecting our planet—conserving natural resources, reducing pollution, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

But here’s something even more powerful: reuse beats recycling. Keeping items in use for longer has an even greater environmental benefit than sending them through the recycling process.

That’s where tool libraries come in.

Across the world, tool libraries are growing as part of a global shift toward a circular economy—where we share, repair and reuse instead of buying new.

Instead of every household owning a drill used once a year…
👉 we share one
👉 we keep tools out of landfill
👉 we save money
👉 we build community

At Wyndham Park Tool Library, we’re proud to be part of this movement—helping our local community:
✔️ Borrow instead of buy
✔️ Reduce waste and consumption
✔️ Give tools a longer life
✔️ Learn new skills and connect with others

Every tool borrowed is one less manufactured, one less discarded, and one small step toward a more sustainable future.

This Global Recycling Day, don’t just recycle…
Think reuse. Think community. Think tool library.
