Congratulations to HOBAN Recruitment on the official opening of the HOBAN Distribution Development Centre in Truganina.

Our CEO was pleased to attend the opening today, delivering a short speech and officially marking the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

As the first centre of its kind in Melbourne’s west, this facility represents an important investment in the region. It will provide hands-on training and support for people seeking careers in logistics, warehousing and distribution, equipping participants with practical skills and industry knowledge to help create pathways into sustainable employment.

The centre will also support local employers by helping to build a pipeline of job-ready talent in one of Wyndham’s key growth sectors.

As Wyndham continues to grow as a major logistics and employment hub, initiatives like this play an important role in strengthening workforce development, supporting industry collaboration and creating meaningful opportunities for our community.

What an incredible experience seeing the Wyndham business community come together at this year’s WYNnovation Business Expo.

Committee for Wyndham was proud to take part in the EQ Leaders Leadership Session, expertly facilitated by Emma Costin.

The turnout was a true reflection of the strength and momentum within Wyndham’s business community, with so many organisations sharing ideas, building meaningful connections, and investing in the future of leadership.

Yesterday our CEO, Leanne was invited to join the panel at Commonwealth Bank’s Western Melbourne Client Connection Lunch, held today at Shadowfax Winery in Werribee South.

The event brought together local business leaders, decision-makers and CommBank representatives to discuss the business environment across Western Melbourne, regional growth opportunities, and the challenges and risks facing businesses today.

Leanne sat alongside Andrew Pade, General Manager Cyber Defence Operations at CommBank, with Dan Freeman, General Manager Commercial Banking VIC, facilitating the conversation. The discussion explored Wyndham’s outlook for business, growth pressures, advocacy, collaboration and business resilience.

Leanne’s involvement on the panel reflects the Committee for Wyndham’s ongoing role in elevating the voice of business and advocating for the infrastructure, investment and partnerships our region needs to thrive
