Peace prevails at Iramoo Primary School! Thanks to Principal Raquel Tweedley and the students,staff and School Council Iramoo Primary is the first of many schools to receive a Peace Pole from Wyndham Rotary. The Peace Pole initiative was launched to recognise 100 years of Rotary in Australia. Over 600 Peace Poles now sit in schools around Australia. This is the first in the City of Wyndham. The catch phrase is May Peace Prevail on Earth and on the face of each pole this appears in languages significant to the school community including the indigenous languages. Auntie Judy Dalton Walsh, local Koorie Engagement Support Officer congratulated the collaboration of students in the school community and Wyndham Rotary.

A real gem in our local community! The only remaining Liberator in the Southern Hemisphere sitting on the old Werribee airfield! The restoration of the B-24 Liberator is a must see! Wyndham Rotarians had a fabulous night exploring the museum and hearing about the progress made and the need for help to continue the great work. Grab the grandkids and take them to see history in the making.
