Sunday was a busy day of train rides at the track.

We had visitors from Wallan, Shepparton, Puckapunyal, Numurkah, Benalla, a Canadian family living in Canberra, a Sydney family charging their Tesla, Seymour and our locals from Euroa - lots of grandparents taking the opportunity of a free ride with their Grandkids.

I’m sure I haven’t covered all our wonderful visitors.

Our members were certainly kept on their toes with lots of rides and lots of Sausages were enjoyed. Thank you to all our hard working members - Member Stuart had his daughter and son visit with a new 6 week old baby - we are sure lots more train rides are on the horizon.

The visit from the mini battleship went down well - thanks to Joel and Skye for coming along and adding to our day. We are hoping to have them back next year.

Sunday October 4 is the last day of school holidays - come and join us at Euroa Miniature Railway for Grandparents day - all grandparents ride free with paying passenger.

We will also have a model battleship on display for the kids and adults to enjoy - details and photos attached

The UlyssesH61 is a 16ft long two person operational Battleship/fishing boat with x2 surface to air rocket launchers, water cannons, Helo/drone pad, x2 Bullhorns & sirens to make lots of noise and much more to draw a crowd. See pics of us out at local military parade.

Thanks to all our visitors who supported us today - first weekend of school holidays saw visitors from Benalla, Melbourne, Yarrawonga, Kilmore, Wallan, Bendigo, family on the way to Tawonga, Bendigo, Broadford as well as our loyal locals from Euroa, Violet Town and Shepparton.

It was a great day and we trialled a new driver truck built by the team. - much more OHS friendly. Also member Rowan Parton new purchase went through a few checks - this train will be seen at a later date on our track and available for rides.

Greg’s sausages and hamburgers were a hit.

Thanks to all our members who worked on the day and apologies to those who turned up late as we had our agm after running day so couldn’t do any late rides.

Our first customers today were local police officers who enjoyed their first visit to our track - thanks for coming along.

A big thank you to Strathbogie Shire Council Parks and Garden Team who always makes sure our Area is tidy for our running days.

They have been hard at work this week and we appreciate it.

Our team has also spent time tidying up some of the garden areas around the track.

Looking like a great day tomorrow for a train ride - 25 and sunny - bring your hat.

School holidays starts at the end of this week and the trains will be on a bit earlier this month -Sunday 20th September from 10.30am till 3.00pm.

The weather is looking great so come and see us at 11 Turnbull St Euroa.

Greg’s sausages and burgers will be cooking for your lunch. Drinks also for sale.

Rides are $3 each or 10 rides for $25.00 - Cash or Eftpos available.

We would like to thank Strathbogie Shire Council and their Quick Response Grant Program - we were successful recently with our application and obtained a grant to install a baby change station at the Club.

We are sure the patrons will appreciate this addition to our facility - it will certainly make things easier for our family visitors.
