I C Y M I: Not every child experiences a birthday party, school disco, or community event in the same way.
For many neurodivergent children, environments that are loud, crowded, or unpredictable can be overwhelming, meaning they often miss out on experiences that many families take for granted.
That's why we are proud to present UBC's Little Groovers Silent Disco, a one-of-a-kind, sensory-friendly community event designed specifically for children aged 4–12 years and their families.
With wireless headphones, adjustable volume, multiple music channels, a calm sensory space, and an inclusive environment, Little Groovers has been thoughtfully created so every child can enjoy the magic of dancing, laughing, and celebrating in a way that feels safe and comfortable.
This isn't just another children's event.
It's about belonging.
It's about inclusion.
It's about ensuring every child has the opportunity to create joyful memories with their family.
