Two additional 'Vybiyka' workshops will be offered on the 3rd and 10th of June. An opportunity for those who attended the first workshop to bring along personal items of clothing to decorate or for those who missed out last week to experience this ancient technique of decorating textiles.
All welcome! Light refreshments provided.

A wonderful afternoon experiencing the craft of 'vybiyky'. Thank you to Olesia Biliakovska for introducing us to this ancient art of decorating textiles using carved wooden stamps and to Osija Anolak for her photography.

After the success of our Pysanka Workshops, UAS is offering the opportunity to experience the traditional hand printing technique of 'vybiyka'. Materials and refreshments will be provided.

AUV is proud to announce the release of Many Colours of Home – a book which tells the stories of people who fled to Victoria because of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Through artwork and personal reflections, we hear their stories of leaving Ukraine, negotiating the challenges of settling in a new country, and then trying to make plans for the future.

We thank our partner, RMIT’s Masters of Writing and Publishing and the volunteers who made this book possible. Most of all we thank the participants who generously gave their time and shared their stories.
